Galveston Bait & Tackle carries live shrimp all year. Everything eats shrimp; it’s like the worm of saltwater fishing.

Trout, Red Fish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Backdrum, Spanish Mackerel, and Jackfish can all be caught using shrimp.

When summer time rolls around (mid March thru November) it’s all about Croaker. Live Croaker is best for speckle Trout and Red Fish.

During the spring and fall Flounder Runs we carry live Mullet and Minnows.
